Benefit’s ‘ring my bella’ fragrance – the perfect handbag size gift for your bridesmaids

‘Sweetly seductive fruity floral’

is how Benefit Cosmetics describe their latest fragrance and what a perfect description it is!

First of all, the packaging is the sweetest, most girly packing (such an adorable box) and the bottle itself is really pretty (so I was already excited about this fragrance before I even tried it)!

I adore sweet fragrances and if you also do, you will love this eau de toilette. As well as being a very sweet fragrance – it is a ‘grown up’ scent which is also romantic.

Womanity – a unique wedding day fragrance

May 2011 – Graham Norton Show, London – Breaking Beauty News…………… Lady Gaga appears on the Graham Norton Show and reveals her new signature scent is Womanity by Thierry Mugler. She shared this secret with Gwyneth Paltrow, and gave her a bottle because she loved it.

Why I am writing about this on my bridal beauty blog? Because this is a fragrance that will appeal to a bride who is searching for a bridal fragrance which is unique – and this scent will not disappoint. Yet again, Thierry Mugler has delivered a fragrance that I absolutely adore.

It is absolutely gorgeous and is different, but different in a good way – it is not a fragrance which will fade within a few hours. Even though it has a sweetness to it, is also has a grown up sensual fragrance which I love.

About Womanity: A salty/ sweet sensation. The main top note is a burst of really ripe, sweet, fresh fig pulp, a fruity note but with that milky dimension peculiar to the fig. Next is the salty, mysterious, even leathery scent of caviar, a facet which is surprising, even a little strange. The ‘backbone’ of the fragrance is based on fig tree wood, a very different woody note that is neither dry, nor milky, nor resinous but astonishingly velvety and feminine. A warm ‘vegetal’ accord, reminiscent of Mediterranean ’scrubland’.

Aura by SWAROVSKI – the first fragrance by SWAROVSKI

We all associate SWAROVSKI with cut and faceted crystal, worked into jewels, accessories and much more……………

How excited I was to hear that the perfume experts at Clarins Fragrance Group were collaborating with SWAROVSKI to create a new signature scent.

With SWAROVSKI being known for glamour and Clarins for their quality and ingredients, I knew that this would be something special.

I may not be an expert in the perfume industry, but I do know that brides-to-be carefully consider the fragrance they wear on their wedding day as the fragrance they choose will always remind them of their special day.

Aura by SWAROVSKI is lighter fragrance than I personally wear on a day-to-day basis, but as it is Eau de Parfum, the fragrance did not wear off throughout the day. It felt fresh, pretty and also fruity, which gave it something different.

What do I love about it most?…….. The bottle!! I can honestly say that it is the most glamorous bottle I have seen in a long time – the weight of the bottle makes it feel so expensive and best of all it has a gorgeous SWAROVSKI crystal at the top. It’s a perfume bottle that you will display on your dressing table, as it looks so gorgeous and glamorous – totally perfect for a bride on her wedding day.

The fragrance is fresh, sweet and so pretty – it is a very feminine fragrance.

I love this Royal Wedding Window display! London will be transformed this week with all of the decoration for the Royal Wedding which will be so exciting to see.

A gorgeous fragrance for your wedding day – Alien Sunessence Amber Gold Edition by Thierry Mugler

One of my favourite fragrances ever is the Thierry Mugler ALIEN fragrance – i’ve worn it for years and it is the fragrance I get more comments on than any other fragrance I wear – I love it!

The original fragrance is a strong fragrance (that’s why I personally adore it), but some brides-to-be, may want a slightly lighter fragrance for their wedding day – I highly recommend the Alien Sunessence Amber Gold Edition fragrance, as it is slightly lighter than the original fragrance, but still has the ‘wow’ factor (as it still contains the original woody-amber notes of the classic Alien scent), but the notes of kiwi, hints of vanilla and stanopea orchids, give it a stunning ‘zing’ and freshness – it is adorable and really unlike any other fragrance I have worn and priced at £40 for a 60ml bottle, I think it is a great price for a stunning fragrance.

A beautiful fragrance for your wedding day – Eau de Sisley 3

Eau de Sisley 3 is a fragrance that I have recently discovered and I wanted to mention it, as I thought that it would make a beautiful wedding day fragrance!

If you are looking for something a little different from the fragrances we all see every day on the high street, then this is a fragrance to try as it a seductive fragrance and very distinctive, without being too heavy and overwhelming.

There are 3 fragrances in this range

Eau de Sisley 1 – described as ‘Floral and Joyful’
Eau de Sisley 2 – described as ‘Sparkling and Transparent’
Eau de Sisley 3 – described as ‘Surprisingly Addictive’

You are attracted more to the description of scents 1 or 2, it is worth trying one of them, but Eau de Sisley 3 is the one for me at the moment! The fragrances do come in 50ml bottles, making them the perfect wedding day/ honeymoon size (not too big to travel with).

To describe this scent – it is definitely a sensual fragrance and is s spicy, floral scent. Top notes are luminous citruses, bergamot, mandarin, grapefruit and lemon. A heart of purple ginger, along with osmanthus which blends seamlessly with elegant base notes of rare patchouli, vetiver, benzoin, vanilla and musk.
